No name climbing rose by my swing...one day it will grow over swing, it's 2 yrs in my garden.
No name rose...
People stop me all the time and ask what kind of rose this is...I don't know, it's a lavender rose.

This was all grass, about 7ft wide and on a slope. There is a short retaining wall that I fell off of twice when mowing...so the grass had to go! This is what resulted...rose of sharons, verbena,climbing roses will eventually go up arches...

This my plan for getting rid of the bermuda grass...
This plan is called "low maintenence backyard" meaning very little to mow whcih translates into hardly any bermuda grass.
This is daddy purple finch, I have named him Ricky...
Mom is, of course, Lucy and I saw her weird bird babies today.

I found your blog on Blotonical. I'm down the road in McKinney. This butterfly bush is absolutely beautiful! I haven't had good luck with it. Does yours come back every year? I took awhile off from blogging, but I'm back. Come visit!
I have two of the bicolor butterfly bushes that I planted last fall. One is leafing out and the other looks dead?? Idk.
